I’ve been seduced by a MacBook

3 weeks after getting my shiny HP TouchSmart TX2 Laptop I’ve gone a purchased a MacBook! Insane I know! Id always look into Mac resellers or PC Worlds Mac section and at the lovely designs of the hardware but never really considered purchasing one as I’ve always been a Windows man.
I use windows at work (Well for 3 more months! hehe) and home, so my software is all Windows based so the change always seemed like a huge leap. But times change, with so much cool free and open source software around I dont need to spend a fortune to get a Mac up and running, and Im no longer a PC gamer making the change is alot easier.

So, the new HP TouchSmart will be heading to eBay, a few weeks old… sad. The biggest feature of it is of course the Tablet nature of the hardware, however after 3 weeks I wasn’t “Jelling” to it as I had expected. The pen came out less as the days went on. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great Tablet PC but I found out the expensive way that Im not really a Tablet user! For Sale! :)

The MacBook now sits on my desk and Im loving getting used to MAC OS, it’s easier than I imagined. Now a cooling off period I think, before I get a iPhone and Desktop Mac! :)
